Hilary Duff is Fly (and Keeps Dry) with the Antik Batik Bongo Fringed Leather Bag

Paparazzi spotted Hilary Duff getting out of her car yesterday, a rainy Friday in LA. Her hair was understandably in messy top knot (as she was on her way to a salon), but the rest of her outfit was as usual, impeccable:

Hilary updates the 90s plaid flannel shirt look with a very now pair of liquid leggings, stiletto booties, and not one but two handbags on the nook of both of her arms.

Why does Hilary have to carry two handbags to a salon? Maybe she doesn’t like sharing salon tools with other people and brings her own? Maybe she’s carrying an outfit change to match her new hair after getting her hair did? Maybe she just has a lot of things?

We might never know the answer but we can confirm this: the handbag on Hilary’s right arm is the fashionista-favored Goyard St. Louis PM Bag, while the the one on her left is the Antik Batik Bongo Fringed Leather Bag.

Both handbags seem to be personal favorites of the 22-year-old actress. She’s been seen carrying the Goyard numerous times, and the Antik Batik in particular on at least on two separate occasions:

The Antik Batik Bongo Fringed Leather Bag is gorg and Hilary Duff proves that you can wear it with a variety of outfits (although gym clothes is a stretch and maybe an acquired LA taste).

Antik Batik Bongo Fringed Leather Bag and JJ Winters Suede Fringe Bag

If you go for the real deal, the bag will set you back a cool $320.00. Going for the very similar JJ Winters Suede Fringe Bag is an option, but it’ll cost you even more at $389.00.

Here’s the real steal version of this bag, the Steve Madden Baustin Cross Body:

This lookalike but not price-a-like is $88.00, now even further reduced down to $74.00. So what do you think? Is losing the gold plate detail, the extra fringes on the flap, and the braided shoulder strap worth the price reduction?
