Jennifer Lopez with a Jimmy Choo Woven Fringe Shoulder Bag
Is Jennifer Lopez making a comeback? After she hit it big in the late 90s to the early 00s with her albums, movies, and a clothing line and then very publicly hooking up and even getting married to a number of men, we didn’t see much of her since. Her long absence from the media led me to believe that Jennifer has already had her time in in the spotlight, but I guess I was wrong: we’re now seeing more and more of the 40-year-old multi-talented Latina this year like it was a Jennifer Lopez 2010 invasion.
Jennifer Lopez is currently very busy promoting her latest movie “The Back-Up Plan” and it has kept her stylists very busy too. They’ve managed to dress her in everything from cage dresses to cropped jackets to skin-tight suits, and for this stop in Paris, they put her in a sexy pair of Emilio Pucci thigh high boots:

I thought thigh high boots was only a trend for fall 2009, but looks like I was wrong about that too. If these photos of Jennifer Lopez sparks another thigh high boot craze, then those boots better be summer-weather-friendly.
The rest of Jennifer Lopez’s sidewalk outfit consists of a Andrew GN Fall 2010 top and a mini skirt, and the bag she’s carrying is the Jimmy Choo Tatum Shopper:

The picture above is the camel suede version. Jennifer Lopez is carrying the brown leather version with the woven snakeskin detail. This bag retails for $2,695.00.

I think we can achieve that same swingy fringe look for much, much less. Here’s the Horse+Nail Altair Suede Bag which is not cheap at $,1350.00 but is still half the price of the Jimmy Choo fringe bag:

Here’s one from Madewell at just $200.00:

And the casual looking yet ultra cheap leather shoulder bag from Hurley with the same swingy long fringes:
Hurley Venue Shoulder Bag, $46.80 (it’s also on sale at this already unbeatable price!)
Do you think Jennifer Lopez will become one of this decade’s style icon again?
