Yep, that’s a fringe bag. Only the fringes are attached to the bag by a stitched line, giving an effect that resembles venetian blinds (I guess you can call it the venetian blinds handbag?).

You won’t get the flat stitched-on fringes snagged on anything for sure. It even creates a hidden pocket of sorts on the surface of the bag. You can slip in your tiny belongings into the slats made by the fringes – just be careful not to deform or overstretch the material.

This handbag is in a simple satchel design and the colors aren’t anything crazy, but I like its size and how roomy it is. It’s big enough to be used as an everyday bag and it’s rectangular shape and shallow depth would make it easy to search for things inside.
