I’ve seen the Gerard Darel Besace Pom Bag on other celebrities before, but I only took notice of it when I saw it on Taylor Swift. Other celebs have it in plain black, brown or grey, but Taylor Swift, sweet as she is, chose the floral version. It looks like it was made just for her:

I adore Taylor Swift in these looks she paired with her Gerard Darel Floral Besace Pom Bag. I love that she also wore floral dresses with her floral bag. The floral on floral look would be serious overkill on other celebs, but floral prints on country cutie Taylor Swift? The two go together like peanut butter and jelly.

The Gerard Darel Besace Pom Bag retails for a whopping $710.00, not to mention that it’s sold out everywhere. Good thing that there are tons of pretty floral bags available online, and here are five I chose that are just as dainty and as sweet as Taylor Swift’s:

Clockwise from top: Betsey Johnson Glitzy Floral Large Shopper, $160.00 (was $302.00). Lucky Brand Hightime Embroidered Leather Tote, $159.00 (was $198.95). Roxy Petticoat Shoulder Bag, $45.00 (was $50.00). OGIO Tote Handbag, $74.00. Lucky Brand Sand Play Tropical Shadow Canvas Bag, $78.95.

I just wrote about Mary Kate Olsen and her Jimmy Choo fringe clutch about four posts ago and here I am writing about her again. I can’t help it if she keeps being photographed with fantastic fringe handbags!

Mary Kate was out with her sister Ashley at theĀ 2010 American Image Awards held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in NYC last May 26. They were there to present the award “Brand of the Year” to shoe designer Steve Madden who collaborated with the Olsens on their own Elizabeth and James shoe line.

Here are a couple of pictures from the event:

And this was Mary Kate’s fringe handbag that caught my eye and prompted me to write this blog post:

Mary Kate Olsen’s orange beaded fringe bag

I believe this is the same fringe bag that Mary Kate used when she attended Paris Fashion Week with ex-boyfriend Nate Lowman in October 2009. I couldn’t find clearer pictures of MK and this bag at that event, but you can assess for yourself in this blog post solely dedicated to Mary Kate Olsen and her fringe handbags. There’s a picture in there of MK and Nate Lowman, and the bag is in MK’s hand at the bottom left of the picture.

So what do you think, is it the same orange beaded fringe bag or not?

I haven’t found the exact bag either, but its style reminds me of this evening bag from Whiting and Davis:

Whiting and Davis Crystal Fringe

It’s the same wristlet style and the same bottom-of-the-bag fringe, but this one is all glamour with its brass mesh and crystals while Mary Kate’s is more boho with its beads and orange and brown colors.

I’ll be on the lookout for fringe bags that are more similar to Mary Kate’s! Meanwhile, the Whiting and Davis Crystal Fringe bag is part of eBags.com‘s Memorial Day Super Sale so save 20% when you buy this bag before May 31.

Kate Hudson’s bohemian chic style really shines during the summer season. Of course she also shows it during the colder months by incorporating select pieces to her look, but when the weather turns warmer, that’s when “free spirit” Kate Hudson really cranks up the dial and lets loose.

Just check out her cool summery outfit in these pictures. She’s practically the embodiment of “boho chic in the summer” here:

May 14, 2010 – Kate Hudson walking in NYC, on her way home after having lunch at Grey Dog restaurant

Kate Hudson looks really comfortable, don’t you agree? With her bouncy hair, glowing skin, and great big smile, she looks like she’s really in her element.

Kate Hudson is hippie rocker in her printed strapless dress, toe ring sandals and classic wayfarers. And of course, her look wouldn’t be complete without a swingy fringe handbag:

Even if Independence Day is still more than a month away, Kate Hudson can show her patriotism with this red, white and blue fringe handbag.

It’s nearly next to impossible to find a handbag that resembles Kate Hudson’s (I haven’t even ID’ed it yet), so what I did was gather a few handbags that are also red, white and blue. They’re also not fully fringed and only have dangling straps or a fringe tassel, but you can still show your national pride with this tote, shoulder bag or clutch:

Marc by Marc Jacobs Miss Marc Mabel, $228.00

Dooney and Bourke Candy Striped Carla Domed Duffle, $145.00 (only one left!)

Ed Hardy Baba Cool Barbara Clutch, $96.60 (originally $210.00)
