Megan Fox Shops in Simple Clothes but with Luxe Accessories

Megan Fox went shopping at the Madison Boutique in West Hollywood last Wednesday (November 30).

The actress had on a simple attire of a gray V-neck shirt and black pants but went the other way with her accessories and went luxe with her bag and boots. Megan wore over-the-knee boots from Christian Dior, and a nice fringe bag from CC Skye.

The bag that Megan carried on her shopping trip is this fringe bag:

The bag is made of pebbled leather with a front flap with magnetic snap closures. The front flap has a braided detail at the edge. It has fringe on the front with little decorative metal beads. The bag retails for $670.

CC Skye also came out with a similar bag without the metal beads on the fringe. It’s called the April fringe bag.

Hilry Duff is pregnant with her first child and she is making sure she remains healthy and fit by remaining physically active. Last Tuesday (August 23), the actress spent time with sister Haylie at a gym in Los Angeles.

When she left the gym, Hilary was carrying a fringe bag with her gym clothes.

Hilary has the same bag as Halley Berry. It is the Rich Gypsy Hobo Fringe handbag from CC Skye. When we featured this bag a few months ago, it was available in Endless. But now it is no longer available in the store so you’ll have to purchase it from Singer 22.

Last Thursday, Halle Berry had lunch with Olivier Martinez at The Little Door in Los Angeles wearing a casual outfit of denim shorts and striped shirt. Halle also carried a hobo bag with fringes on the sides.

Halle’s fringe hobo is from CC Skye. The bag is available in Endless for $620. We think we prefer this bag over the CC Skye cross-body bag that we posted yesterday.

The CC Skye Leight Luxe Fringe bag is made of glazed leather with a front flap that closes with a magnetic snap. It has a zip pocket and 2 patch pockets inside. The bag has gold hardware and oversized buckles.

The detail that makes this bag attractive to us is the metal beading of the fringes. How cute are those shiny balls? They look like morning dew on grass leaves.

This bag isn’t exactly cheap for a bag to just carry on errands,so we’re adding this to our wishlist for now. We think it would still make a great bag for fall/winter, so we’re willing to wait a bit before we purchase this bag. The bag is $670 from Shopbop.

It was an extravaganza of mile-long fringes hanging off of handbags at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 RTW fashion show, another sign that there’s no stopping fringe for this year:

In his interview, Marc Jacobs said that he was tired of seeing black and studs – things that his 80s-inspired fall 2009 RTW collection was very much full of. For his spring collection, Marc Jacobs went the opposite direction, saying that it was time to bring fashion back to “the theater, the ballet, and the opera”.

You can clearly see the direction he’s going in the white kabuki makeup, the hair in top knots, and the ruffle details on the clothes. The added length on the handbag fringes was definitely a big part of the creative thought process because their swishy, dramatic movements couldn’t have been just a coincidence. The super long fringes lent an elegant air to the entire collection and although not a difficult stretch by any means, made the models look as graceful as ballerinas with every step they took.
