New Fringe Bag from Wayuu Taya

Last summer, we bought a beautiful Wayuu Taya bag that we carried practically everyday to do random things. It was just the perfect bag that added color and texture to our casual outfits. Now there’s a new bag from the Wayuu Taya Foundation that we’re totally loving. If we didn’t buy the bucket bag last summer we’d totally get this bag:

Wayuu Taya Morroa Bag

It’s the WAYUU Taya Morroa Bag from Revolve Clothing. The bag is completely handmade in Colombia and features a geometric pattern. Since Wayuu Taya bags are completely handmade, none of the bags are exactly alike. The bag is completely lined, and has a patch pocket inside. The bag has a large wooden bead that serves as closure for the bag’s drawstring, but the main compartment of the bag closes using a velcro. Here’s the bag’s dimension: 13″H x 13″L x 8″D.

Wayuu Taya bags are made by Latin American indigenous women. The Wayuu Taya Foundation runs educational programs for the indigenous women of the Wayuu tribe and a big part of the cost of the bag goes into funding the educational programs and the bag project.

LeAnn Rimes’ Fringe Bag for Lunch Date with Husband Eddie

LeAnn Rimes headed to lunch at the Coral Tree in Brentwood, California yesterday (October 19) with husband Eddie Cibrian.

LeAnn, who is turning out to be a real fashion plate, looked lovely in her earth tone clothes. The singer had her hair up in a messy bun and finished her look with brown knee-high boots, and a fringe handbag.

Jessica Alba Steps Out with Luxurious Fringe Bag

Looking at this photo of Jessica Alba, if one didn’t know it, one wouldn’t be able to guess that she gave birth just last month:

Jessica Alba looked smashing as she headed to a meeting over the weekend. The actress was in a black strapless maxi dress, platform sandals, and had on stylish accessories- a fringe handbag, aviator sunglasses, and oversized earrings.

Jessica Alba is definitely right on trend with her suede fringe bag. The bag has a bohemian vibe, but will easily go with a more luxe get-up because of the rich suede that it is made of. The fringe is also limited to two stripes in the front, so the bag is still elegant and not over-the-top.

Hilry Duff is pregnant with her first child and she is making sure she remains healthy and fit by remaining physically active. Last Tuesday (August 23), the actress spent time with sister Haylie at a gym in Los Angeles.

When she left the gym, Hilary was carrying a fringe bag with her gym clothes.

Hilary has the same bag as Halley Berry. It is the Rich Gypsy Hobo Fringe handbag from CC Skye. When we featured this bag a few months ago, it was available in Endless. But now it is no longer available in the store so you’ll have to purchase it from Singer 22.

The bag sells for $620. The bag has gold hardware, and fringes on both sides. The bag measures 17″ 7″ W x 10.5″ H x 6″ D.

Last Thursday, Halle Berry had lunch with Olivier Martinez at The Little Door in Los Angeles wearing a casual outfit of denim shorts and striped shirt. Halle also carried a hobo bag with fringes on the sides.

Halle’s fringe hobo is from CC Skye. The bag is available in Endless for $620. We think we prefer this bag over the CC Skye cross-body bag that we posted yesterday.

January Jones, star of Mad Men, is pregnant.

The day her rep announced this piece of news, she was papped in Los Angeles carrying a colorful, fringe bag. And while the news of the star being pregnant makes us excited for her, we can’t get over how ugly her bag is.

Why would anyone pay close to $2000 for this bag? We understand that fringe bags are a must-have this season (hey, we run a whole blog dedicated to fringe handbags) but seriously, who buys bags like this?

A beaming Jessica Alba was spotted with her cute daughter Honor while off to some lunch date with friends on Wednesday, February 2, in Brentwood, California. Here’s Jessica with daughter Honor:

Jessica donned her favorite winter ensemble for their day out, which consisted of a black v-neck top, floral chiffon skirt, black tights, and comfy cutout flats. A fitted blazer, Persol sunnies, and a sleek-looking fringe bag completed her chic California-girl style.

Jessica sure looks to be having fun under the California sun. We love her happy smile as well as her chic ensemble for the day.
