Wow, we haven’t seen this celebrity in a while.

Elizabeth Berkley was seen out and about in LA last August 2. Her hair was just in a ponytail and she was just dressed down in a tank top, jeans and flip flops, but her fringe bag in a fiery engine red color was attention-grabbing enough for everything else:

Elizabeth Berkley’s fringe bag is really, really red but I actually quite like it. Granted that I would probably only use an accessory in that color when I’m just dressed down too, but it really does successfully add that POP of color that a simple outfit like Elizabeth’s needs.

Elizabeth Berkley is carrying the Madewell Fringe Hobo:

I don’t know why it looks less red in this picture but anyway, guess what this color’s name is? Red Hot!

This “buttery as can be” leather fringe handbag is embellished with antiqued nickel hardware on the straps and raw fringe on its edges. It’s currently on sale (yay!) at 30% off at Shopbop.com with only 2 pieces left! You can also get the Flint (a grey color) at Madewell.com but it’s still at full price at $198.00.

Red or grey – either way, it’s a great-looking fringe bag!

I tried ID’ing this fringe messenger bag but you can never be sure with someone like Ke$ha who has an affinity for um, used clothing and the trashy chic style. She even openly declares her love for dumpster diving.

“My favorite stuff that I’ve ever found has been from trash cans,” Ke$ha says to WWD, “and I bought this incredible vest off a homeless guy recently.”

I don’t know about going through clothes in donation boxes that are meant for people who really need them, but I respect Ke$ha’s art and unique sense of style enough for me to actually type her name with the dollar sign.

This is Ke$ha’s fringe handbag that I’m trying to put a name on:

August 1, 2010 – Ke$ha makes her way through LaGuardia airport in New York City with her bodyguard

June 21, 2010 – Ke$ha hits a car rental place after attending a Gulf Telethon at “Larry King Live” studios

Here’s a closer look:

Just based on these pictures, it seems that this bag is a mix of some type of glittery fabric, leather and suede. The strap has to be fabric in order to Ke$ha to tie a knot in it like that, the cracked body appears to be leather, and the swingy fringes are clearly suede.

I have yet to find out who makes this bag but if this is one of those things that Ke$ha got from a trash can, then well, great find Ke$ha.

Here are 3 fringe handbags that are similar to Ke$ha’s that are thankfully a lot easier – and cleaner – to find:

1. Nino Bossi Oyster Leather Small Fringe Handbag, $148.00; 2. Prezzo 3409 Double Layer Fringe Messenger Bag, $25.45; 3. Prezzo Fringe Tote, $33.60

Number 1 and number 3 are on sale and if you head on over to IrvsLuggage.com (the website from where number 1 is), you can get an extra 20-75% off when you enter the code SUM15 at checkout. Take advantage of that hot summer sale!

Melie Bianco is an accessories brand that’s high on the Fringe Handbags radar - they make stylish in-demand handbags that are loved by celebrities at just a fraction of the price.

How do they do it?

Melissa, who is 1/2 of the husband and wife team behind the successful cult brand says, “I design bags to reflect the season’s trends, but within a budget of women like my sisters.”

“Women—especially working women—want high-end handbags but at an affordable price.”

Don’t we all. The brand’s philosophy “affordable luxury” is evident in their handbags’ very trendy designs with price tags that will shock you – in a very good way. Most of their bags are priced in the range of just a hundred dollars or even less, and nothing over the 400-dollar mark.

Melie Bianco handbags’ appeal goes beyond prices and aesthetics. Because they are made of high-quality faux leather materials, they also attract handbag lovers that are also animal lovers. Melie Bianco handbags do not use animal-based products, making them the perfect budget-friendly, vegan-friendly and fashion-forward accessory.

I for one was very surprised when I saw the prices on these handbags. I thought they’d be in the $300-$500 range! :
