Leonardo di Caprio’s lady-love was spotted out and about at The Grove in LA getting into the Holiday spirit by doing her fair share of shopping. Take a look:

No, I don’t mean her large Nordstrom shopping bag, though I wonder what’s in it… Probably dear old Leo’s Christmas present, perhaps… Anyway, moving on, I guess you probably know by now that I’m referring to Bar’s stylish black fringe bag–definitely one intriguing bag.

Bar’s black fringe bag is quite bohemian and definitely chic. It is the perfect complement to her cool style. However, with the fringe bag quite hidden in this photo, it’s hard to make out it’s overall style or make. We got a relatively good glimpse of it, though, so we can do a good job of looking for look-alikes in case you love Bar’s chic street style and would like to sport your own version of it.

Ever since Jennifer Lopez came out of hiding and started appearing publicly more often, it seems like she has developed a penchant for fringe handbags. I’ve featured her quite a lot since she hosted Saturday Night Live this year and I really do hope to see more of her and get the chance to write about her here on this blog. Jennifer Lopez is one of the few celebs who have that wow factor on and off cam and I truly do enjoy seeing her gorgeous self in all her gorgeous outfits.

Speaking of outfits, isn’t Jennifer Lopez looking very Miami chic in these pictures? She looks cool and chic but not too dressed up and her gauzy shirt, light khaki shorts and espadrilles are perfect for the warm, balmy weather.

So it’s been more than seven months since Ashley Greene used her Gucci Indy Bag last. It’s nice to see that she’s resurrected an old favorite bag of hers and a fringed one at that.

The Gucci Indy Bag actually didn’t get favorable reviews when it was released in 2008, but I think Ashley has got one of the prettier ones. There’s an Indy Bag with the ugly Gucci monogram, one that’s overstudded, and one that’s got weird embroidery all over it, but Ashley’s Indy in just plain, rich, brown leather is chic and classy. No wonder Ashley keeps using it over and over again.

The Gucci Indy Bag isn’t available online anymore but fringe tassel bags like the Indy are pretty easy to find. Here are four of the hundreds I came across on online stores:

Fringe tassels growing out of the sides of handbags at the Marc ...]]> Extra long wasn’t the only length that fringes came out in on the Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 runway. Fringes also appeared in really short pieces, all bunched up in tassels that look like they spurted out of the sides of the handbags:

The combination of the short fringe tassels and the eyelets on the handbags has a repulsive, almost grotesque effect on me. They make the handbag look alive, like a living creature that crawled out of a deep, dark hole. Nevertheless, I still can’t stop staring and that’s sort of a good thing in fashion right? It makes people talk about it, give it publicity, even if what they’re saying is negative. And as the old saying goes, there’s no such thing as bad publicity.
